We read the story 'The Honey Hunters'. The story is about a group of animals searching for honey. When they eventually find the honey, they start to argue. They decide they can no longer be friends. Ask your child to tell you the story. We worked together to make a large picture for the dining area. Everyone contributed to the picture by either making leaves and insects or animals. The children are really pleased with the end product.
This term Key Stage 1 are following a new fitness programme, 'Leap for Life'. It is a daily programme where the children exercise and have fun! They learn new skills and increase their fitness.
We had a class discussion about who would make a good school council representative. The children all voted for one girl and one boy. They will attend school council meetings and report back to the class.
