Nursery Plus

 Hello, I'm Julie Cook,  Nursery Plus teacher based at Dartmouth Primary School and Nursery.

My role is to provide enhanced provision for pre school children through early identification and assessment of need. I then develop and deliver planned individual targets, working with parents/carers, settings and relevant outside agencies.

As well as working with children in the Foundation Unit of our school, I also provide outreach work to Pre Schools and Nurseries across the South Hams. An admissions meeting is held each term to consider referrals and identify those children needing outreach support.

Our aim is for children to make a successful transition into their local school, in line with other children of the same age.
