School behaviour management is based on positive, assertive principles. We encourage an honest, caring relationship between teachers, parents and children. We have high expectations for our children's behaviour and teach them to assume responsibility for their actions and the consequence of those actions. Good behaviour and achievement is constantly praised and rewarded. However, children and parents are aware that poor behaviour, which disrupts a child's learning, will not be tolerated. Where unacceptable behaviour is displayed sanctions - usually the withdrawal of privileges - are used. The support of parents concerning discipline issues is vitally important. Any concerns regarding a child's behaviour is reported to parents as soon as it is practically possible.
