Dear Parents,

RNLI Week

Our RNLI theme week is going really well and children are enjoying their visits to the new lifeboat station, and the lifeboat based activities they are involved with in class.

As you know, we are taking part in the SOS fundraising day for the RNLI this Friday. Could I please remind you that children will be able to wear non-school uniform that day, in exchange for a donation of £1.00. We are also asking as many children as possible to decorate a pair of wellington boots (or other shoes if they don’t have wellies) and wear them to school that day. There will be prizes for the most imaginatively decorated wellies in each Key Stage.

In addition, each class has risen to the challenge of raising money so we will be holding a lifeboat fair on Friday, from 2.45 until 3.15. If you would like to attend, see the fantastic stalls the children have dreamed up, and help support the fundraising, please feel free to collect your child from class at 2.40, and visit the fair with them. Of course, you can also collect your child at 3.15, as normal, if you prefer. There will be lots of exciting games, raffles and things to buy, so please send your child with some pocket money if you’re not able to attend.
