Dear Parents,

More able, gifted and talented pupils

At Dartmouth Primary School and Nursery we are committed to making sure that every child achieves their full potential, whatever their ability. This year, we are having a particular focus on the needs of the most able pupils in school; this work is being led by Mrs Taylor, who is our lead teacher for this area. I would like to invite you to join Mrs Taylor and me at a meeting, where we will explain in more detail what we are doing to support this group of pupils. We will be holding two meetings on Wednesday 22nd October; the first will be at 2:45 and there will be a repeat at 6:00. Please let us know on the form below if you will be attending.

Parking

I notice that a few parents have started to use the school car-park when dropping off or collecting children at the start and end of the day. Could I please remind you that we ask parents not to do this for safety reasons. The site is very busy at these times, with lots of children crossing the road as they arrive at school and we are concerned that, if lots of cars are using the entrance at the same time, a child may be hurt. Thank-you for your help with this.
